In the documentary TV-serial “Welcome in my World” Vida Behrouz enters into the daily life of a total stranger and tries to find out more about one’s life and lifestyle for an entire day.

11 Individuals, 11 lives.
Every episode starts with Vida entering a ring consisting of 11 strangers, all dressed the same. This is to emphasis the principal of equality. But in reality the members of the ring are as diverse as the society we live in; a PhD in Anthropology, a soldier of the Salvation Army, a baker, an artist, a writer, a social worker and a homeless person all stand next to each other in the ring.

After Vida picking up one stranger from the ring at random, she accompanies him or her for an entire day, participating in and adapting into one's life and a lifestyle unknown to her as much as possible, with a camera crew following them closely registering and capturing this whole process.
