Poppen die huilen (crying puppets) is the story of 7 teenage mothers, born in Russia, Bosnia, Morocco and Portugal, now living in Eindhoven (The Netherlands). This film was shot in ‘Het Klokgebouw Strijp S’ in Eindhoven. The barren and empty room is a symbol for the desolation and feelings of the young mothers; it shows only their inner world. The documentary brings up prejudices to discuss.
